Helping in School
We welcome and value voluntary help both in school and on visits. Teachers plan a variety of activities for children as part of their work and it is often appropriate for this to be supervised by another adult. Some parents have particular expertise which they are able to share with children. If you feel you are able to help on a regular or occasional basis, please let us know. Volunteers for certain activities are required to obtain clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and two references. Please note that the DBS must be applied for under the Woodlea Primary School application process. DBS certificates from other organisations are not transferrable unless you are registered for the DBS update service. Please contact the office for more information.
