Through the arts, children are given opportunities to learn about themselves and the world around them. 

We aim to engage, inspire and challenge pupils, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. Children should also learn how art and design both reflects and has shaped our history, contributing to the culture, creativity and wealth of our nation.
